Growing up in Africa, our founder witnessed many sudden and unexpected deaths — healthy people leaving home and never returning. In April 2026, tragedy became personal when his brother, 39 years old and days away from graduating as a Denver Sheriff, passed away without warning.
Navigating grief while scrambling for funeral funds revealed a painful truth: countless families face the same impossible choice. Hope In Action was born so no family ever has to walk that road alone.
